Ruby was the biggest project I’ve made so far. She required making the body in one piece, which used a lot of fabric. The 3D effect utilised for her bustier was made by embroidering onto a a skin tone scrap, stuffing it and embroidering over that before reattaching it to her body.
For the fishnets, I redid them about 4 times. They either never matched the other leg or didn’t look right. The final time, I got a ruler out and planned all my lines in advance. The lines were all perpendicular to each other so I only needed to make one set of holes.
